We are aware of a scam in which some unknown person(s) contact individuals who posted resumes on internet job search web sites such as www.monster.com, or post a job listing on the internet web site www.craigslist.com, seeking applicants to nonexistent job openings at Mitsui USA. The person(s) then perform an "interview" with the applicant using instant messenger, concluding the "interview" by claiming to hire the applicant and then or at some point soon after demand money be sent by Western Union.

Mitsui USA does not interview applications by instant messenger, post job openings or otherwise seek job applicants on www.craigslist.com or request or accept money from applicants or new hires.

Please do not provide personal information or send funds to anyone claiming to be from Mitsui USA who discovered you through a www.craigslist.com listing, or who seeks to interview you by instant messenger.
