Mitsui to Supply of Electricity Bundled with RE100-Compliant Environmental Value to ZOZO Marine Stadium

Mar. 30, 2026

Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui"; Head Office: Chiyoda ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) will commence the supply of electricity bundled with Non Fossil Certificates that meet the requirements of RE100—a global initiative promoting the use of 100% renewable energy—to Chiba Lotte Marines Co., Ltd. ("Chiba Lotte Marines") from April 2026. Through this initiative, all electricity consumed at ZOZO Marine Stadium will continue to be sourced from 100% renewable energy.

RE100 establishes specific criteria designed to encourage the development of renewable energy, with a particular focus on newly developed or relatively young generation assets. Under this initiative, Mitsui will provide environmental value derived from renewable energy sources that satisfy these criteria in the form of Non Fossil Certificates.

ZOZO Marine Stadium is a large scale facility that attracts a significant number of visitors through professional baseball games and various other events. Chiba Lotte Marines has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and promoting the use of renewable energy. By enabling the stadium's entire electricity consumption to be covered by renewable energy, Mitsui supports Chiba Lotte Marines in further advancing its sustainability initiatives.

Going forward, Mitsui will continue to promote the broader adoption of renewable energy and contribute to the realization of a low carbon society by leveraging the extensive expertise and knowledge it has accumulated through a wide range of power sales activities.
