Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) received the highest rating of "A" and was selected as an "A-List Company" in the areas of "Climate Change" and "Water Security" for the environmental disclosure questionnaires announced on December 10, 2025 by the non-profit organization CDP*. This marks the second consecutive year following the 2024 evaluation.
Mitsui positions addressing climate change as a key management issue and continues to transform our business portfolio with the aim of achieving a low-carbon society. We position technological innovation in the environmental field as a business opportunity and pursue and expand investments through a broad range of business activities, striving to contribute to solving the social challenge of climate change. In addition, Mitsui. recognizes that access to safe and sanitary water is a fundamental human right and that water resources are essential for business continuity, and strives to conserve water resources through efforts to reduce water usage and improve efficiency across individual business operations.
Mitsui will work to achieve sustainable growth and resolve social issues by continuing to strengthen and promote its initiatives in the field of sustainability, and through appropriate information disclosure.
