We would like to express our sincere condolences for all those who have perished in, and our sympathies to all who have been impacted by, the recent heavy rains in the central and southern regions of the Republic of Mozambique ("Mozambique").

In consideration of the serious damage caused by this heavy rainfall in January 2026 and to provide some relief to the many victims who are subsequently suffering from the effects of the disaster and to meet the urgent need for food assistance, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) has decided to donate food supplies equivalent to USD 50,000 to support the affected areas.

We sincerely wish for a swift recovery from this tragedy.
