Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) has agreed to acquire all shares in the HAVI Supply Chain business in Japan (HAVI Supply Chain Solutions Japan G.K.,) and the HAVI Supply Chain business in Taiwan (HAVI Logistics (Taiwan) Ltd and Hong Jin Transportation Company, Ltd). All three entities are affiliated to The HAVI Group, LP ("HAVI", Head Office: Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.), which provides multi-temperature logistics services for the food service industry on a global basis. This is planned to be executed within the fiscal year ending March 2025, after the fulfillment of condition precedents, including obtaining the necessary approvals.

HAVI is a multi-temperature supply chain management provider globally, managing the supply chains of leading foodservice brands that uphold high standard for quality and safety. HAVI offers integrated digital and operational capabilities including analytics, planning, distribution, and logistics to deliver food and other supplies to outlets nationwide. For many years Mitsui and HAVI partnered to provide essential services to the foodservice industry in Japan and Taiwan. Mitsui is taking over HAVI's supply chain operation in Japan and Taiwan and aim to achieve further growth by combining our integrated strengths, namely our distribution functions, logistics center businesses in Japan and overseas, and domestic and global networks, with HAVI's core strengths.
