We would like to express our sincere condolences and sympathies for those who have perished in, and all who have been impacted by, the recent tragic wildfires in the central and southern regions of the Republic of Chile.

In consideration of the serious damage caused by the wildfires that occurred in the central and southern regions of the Republic of Chile in February 2024, as well as the many victims who are subsequently suffering from the effects of the disaster, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) and Mitsui & Co.(Chile), Ltda. ("Mitsui Chile", Head Office: Santiago, Chairman and President: Kazutaka Shiba) announced today that Mitsui and Mitsui Chile will make a total of JPY 10 million donation to provide aid for the affected areas and people.
Officers and employees of Mitsui will also make donations to aid relief efforts.

We sincerely wish for a swift recovery from this tragedy.
