As part of Australian Government's New Colombo Plan, Mitsui has been offering young Australians with an opportunity to learn about culture, history, business, lifestyle and people of Japan/Mitsui. 

Since 2015, Mitsui hosted a total of 92 Australian university students at our head office in Tokyo for a 2-week immersion program, and this year we welcomed additional 14 participants from Deakin University (VIC), Queensland University of Technology (QLD), University of Sydney (NSW) and University of Wollongong (NSW).

Despite the hot/humid weather, each of the participants enjoyed the program in their own way. Some of the participants said;

“I had such a great time and loved every minute of it”

“It was an experience of a lifetime”

“The experience exceeded all of my expectation and I feel vert grateful”

“I've gotten so many rewarding things from these two weeks”

We hope that the experience has helped each participant with greater understanding of different culture, and will give some positive influence on their future career paths.
