On a cloudy day of 4 May, Mitsui Melbourne team got together and participated in the Business Clean Up Australia Day, following our Perth team who completed the activity back in March.

Together with the CEO of Mitsui & Co. Australia, 21 generous staff members dedicated their time for the event and provided a great contribution to a cleaner, greener and more beautiful Melbourne CBD.

The team collected various types of rubbish including;

·         Cigarette buds x 200+

·         Paper, napkins and cardboards x 100+

·         Soft plastic packaging x 50+

·         Plastic water bottles, glass bottles & cans x 40+

·         Coffee cups and lids x 30+

·         Clothes, thongs & eco bags x 7

·         Face masks x 6

·         Car mirror and vampers x 2

As one of the annual ‘’One Mitsui’’ activity, Mitsui & Co. Australia is committed to the Clean Up Australia Day, by participating in the clean-up activities since 2015.

We look forward to continuing our tradition next year for this very important initiative across the country.
