The Melbourne and Perth offices stepped up to participate in the national Clean Up Australia Day.

This initiative saw staff members from both locations dedicating their time to clean up local areas, reinforcing Mitsui's commitment to fostering a greener future.

Melbourne Office Embarks on Royal Park Clean-Up

On the morning of February 27th, the Melbourne office gathered a group of 31 staff members, including Mitsui Australia's CEO, Mr. Sugahara, to embark on a clean-up mission at Royal Park, Melbourne.

Mitsui Australia's involvement in Clean Up Australia Day is rooted in our core values of sustainability and community engagement.

The event not only helped clean up our local area but also brought our team closer together, working towards a common goal of making our city a cleaner place. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together as a community.

Perth Office Stepping Up to Unite

On Tuesday 27th of February, the Mitsui Perth office was joined by a variety of staff to participate in the nation-wide Business Clean Up Australia Day.

Taking advantage of an unseasonably mild summer day, the dedicated group headed to the streets of the Perth CBD to tackle the waste challenges of our everyday environment and protect the local environment. The event included cleaning up at Wellington Square, a large park in East Perth (pictured).

General Manager of the Perth Office, Tack Nakao said it is “important for us to contribute to a greener, cleaner future for the next generation”.
