8 students from Curtin University, University of South Australia, Queenland University of Technology, University of Wollongong, Macquarie University, University of Sydney, Monash University and La Trobe University, have recently returned safely from a 3-week Study Tour of Japan, sponsored by Mitsui Educational Foundation (MEF).

Despite a rough start with a 6-hour flight delay, the young spirits enthusiastically completed a jam-packed, comprehensive and inspiring itinerary, leaving them with many fond memories with the culture, history, business, and the people who they are exposed to throughout the program.

Each participant is currently working on a program report to finalise their journey, prior to the delivery of presentation to the MEF Trustees, government officials and Mitsui's senior management in early 2024.

We look forward to witnessing how the experience benefitted each member of the MEF 2023 cohort, and welcoming them to join our long-standing alumni network with participants from over 50 years.
