Mitsui Iron Ore Development (MIOD) has been an active contributor to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) since 2014 and this year is no different, recently donating $10,000 to support the critical work of the health service.
MIOD Managing Director, Takahiro Doiuchi said, “Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our people and communities, and the Flying Doctor provides a vital service to remote and rural areas. Our donations help improve medical access and services for people in these areas, including where we operate in the Pilbara.”
"Just like the RFDS, we believe everyone deserves help, when help is needed most. Our employees, communities, and neighbours live and work in some of the most remote parts of Australia. And the RFDS is there to help them, if they ever need it.”
