With Christmas just around the corner, staff at Mitsui’s Melbourne office donated more than 60 assorted toys and books to the annual Smith Family’s Toy & Book Appeal.
Mitsui Human Resource Advisor, Jerry Wang coordinated the office toy appeal and praised the work of the Smith Family in making Christmas a little easier for disadvantaged families.
“Sadly, there are Australian children who will go without receiving a gift this Christmassimply because their families can’t afford it.”
“The
Smith Family, and their volunteers, do a tremendous job each year collecting
and distributing toys and books so every child has the opportunity for a merry
Christmas,” Jerry said.
The Smith Family helps more than 1.1 million Australian
children living in poverty each year. You can help
