With Australians being urged to brush up on their recycling habits this National Recycling Week (Nov 11-17), Mitsui Coal Holdings (MCH) has found a positive way to minimise waste and manage material resources.
MCH recently donated seven recycled computer monitors to the Moura State High School to be reused for educational purposes. With a growing student population, the equipment was gladly received by the school.
Company Secretary at Mitsui Coal Holdings, Norihiko Morita said MCH would continue to donate its recycled computer equipment to the school and wider local community.
“Six more monitors are set to be provided in the coming month and a reconditioned PC will also be given to the Moura Historical Society,” Norihiko said.
Mitsui has a long history with the Moura community as a founding partner in the Dawson coal mine in 1963, and still actively invested in the mine today.
