Mitsui’s Melbourne office recently hosted a group of Japanese undergraduate students from Aoyama Gakuin University as part of the Monash College Global Professionals Program.
Since 2015, the students have visited the office to gain exposure to the business, participate in discussions and engage with Mitsui’s local and Japanese staff for a broad perspective of life and business in Australia.
General Manager of Mitsui’s Corporate Planning Division, Mr Takaaki Hara addressed the students in a Q & A session and praised their critical and analytical thinking.
“This was my first time to meet with the students on the Global Professionals Program. I was impressed with their awareness of Mitsui and their enthusiasm to learn about the global trends impacting the business,” Mr Hara said.
