What should every woman know? That was the question that Mitsui & Co. Australia’s Chief Operating Officer, Wendy Holdenson addressed as a member of a panel of amazing women to celebrate International Women’s Day.

At the event hosted by the Woollahra Council in Sydney, Wendy spoke to the audience about her life and career experiences and the work she is doing to support Mitsui’s global talent program.

“The theme of IWD this year is Balance for Better, and balance is not a women's issue, it's a business issue. Everyone can play a leadership role, no matter what their background,” Wendy said.

Other guest speakers who joined Wendy on the panel included Dr Ginni Mansberg (GP, writer and TV presenter), Helen Coonan (Company director, barrister and former Cabinet Minister), Jane Fleming (Olympic athlete and business woman), and Jessica Rowe (Journalist, TV presenter and author).
