During August, Mitsui Perth
office hosted a roundtable for group of students from the University of Western
Australia Business School.
The students learned about Mitsui’s operations in Western Australia. Many of the students aspire to work in global corporations, and actively asked questions of Mitsui’s executives from our iron ore, oil & gas, salt and grains businesses.
One of the students commented “It is not often we are given the opportunity to meet with executives of companies like Mitsui. Being able to lean about how Mitsui operates – in particular the philosophy of the culture in the company, and the opinions of the people with such a wealth of knowledge – was an invaluable experience”.
In 2008, Mitsui made a donation to UWA Business School which funds research programs, scholarship grants and building construction. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to the local business school.
