Eight students selected from universities around Australia participated in the annual Mitsui Educational Foundation (MEF) Study Tour of Japan 2017.

The three-week tour (21 November – 12 December) was an opportunity for them to learn about Japanese culture, history, business and industry  – and to forge personal connections with Japanese people from all walks of life.

Hermine Lee, an International Studies, Psychology & Health Science major from Monash University, said it was an inspiring and amazing learning experience."

“Each day presented us with new opportunities for growth and knowledge. With extensive activities, it was exhilarating to see what was on our itinerary each day."

“Participating in the MEF Study Tour of Japan was the catalyst for the next stage of my life. My MEF experience will definitely influence my professional ambitions.
