Pilbara primary school students excel at STEM Assembly - October 2017

Nov. 14, 2017

In October Tambrey Primary School in Karratha, Western Australia hosted an assembly focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning.

Representatives from Mitsui Iron Ore Development (MIOD) travelled to the school and were treated to a robotics show from students who also participate in Scitech’s Intensive Robotics Program.

Scitech, a not-for-profit organization, delivers a hands-on learning experience in robotics and aims to spark student interest in STEM subjects.

MIOD has proudly supported Scitech’s Intensive Robotics Program since 2014 for primary schools in regional Western Australia.

Scitech seeks to increase awareness, interest, capability and participation in STEM by all Western Australians.
