On 26 February, 20 employees of Mitsui & Co. (Australia) Melbourne head office volunteered for the 2017 Melbourne Japanese Summer Festival contributing to cultural exchange between Japan and Australia.

Since 2010, the Melbourne Japanese Summer Festival has showcased contemporary and traditional Japanese culture, crafts and food to the Melbourne community. This year featured traditional performances of Taiko drumming, Okinawa folk music, and Bon dance which festival-goers joinedin.

Mitsui employees helped out serving at the beer garden. One employee took centre stage as MC for the entire event.
