Human Resources Development Mechanisms

Mitsui & Co. Group encourages its employees to achieve growth through frontline business experience. The core elements of our approach to human resources development are the personal commitment of individual employees to embody the MVV through their day-to-day activities, and the supportive on-the-job training (OJT) provided by older employees and superiors, who are willing to assist the growth of their colleagues. We also plan and provide off-the-job training (off-JT) to support and complement human resources development based on frontline experience. This combination of on- and off-the-job training enhances and drives human resources development at the global level.
