Mitsui is engaged in a rooftop solar power generation project for factories in Thailand with Gulf Energy Development, the country's largest private power generation company, to reduce CO2 emissions.
Based on a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), factory owners can use solar-generated power without initial investment to reduce CO2 emissions and electricity costs.
Gulf Energy Development also offers packaged decarbonization solutions that include environmental value certificates and storage batteries.
