Project Description

Survey and investigate rivers and ponds, etc. in areas of Tokyo for an effective means of capture and draft a practical preventive manual for those turtle species for which there is a lag in countermeasures for elimination among non-native species causing harm to local ecosystems.

Establishment Purpose
Established around university students with an interest in the management and administration of green space facilities for living creatures, such as parks, with a focus on wildlife, in particular birds and insects. Develops technologies, and surveys and researches on vegetation management, non-native species management, environmental learning, and similar activities through commissioned work, and implementation of autonomous projects. These activities aim to contribute to better management of green space facilities for living creatures in each location, as well as promoting the conservation of natural environments, by disseminating know-how obtained from practical work on-site, rather than focusing only on specific parks or facilities.
