Develop model standard regions for environmental education towards creating a low carbon society

Project Description

Kiko Network has developed its global warming prevention environmental education program aimed at elementary school upper grades in Kyoto since 2005, and will expand it to other regions. This project will teach the children who will carry our future the actions necessary for preventing global warming and provide an opportunity to make practical connections, in collaboration with regional organizations including domestic and foreign NPOs and NGOs, and local governments. It aims to expand the program to two areas in 2013, seven in 2014, and 12 in 2015.
