(Brasil) S.A. was established in 1960 and has since grown to have over 30 affiliated companies within Brazil, operating in a wide range of industries including energy, mining, transportation logistics, metal production and processing, agriculture, food retail and DX. The company has expanded its presence significantly, with its main offices located in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Considering Brazil's strengths and bottlenecks in natural capital, the government's industrial policies, the massive consumer market of 220 million people, and the global trend towards decarbonization, Mitsui & Co. (Brasil) S.A. has identified five key focus areas in its current medium-term management plan. These areas are the energy value chain, logistics, agribusiness, consumer-centric sectors, and opportunities in decarbonization over a span of more than three years. Mitsui & Co.
