Introduction to Grant Projects
The research society for environmental systems management
Attitude survey into SMEs environmental and corporate social responsibility in Fukuoka Prefecture
Activity grant
- Project Description
Whilst the concept of CSR is spreading to large companies, the permeation to SMEs which make up the majority of companies, is still insufficient. The dissemination and establishment of CSR including the response to environmental problems is an important issue for society. In this project, we clarify the CSR and environmental problem response in SMEs in Fukuoka Prefecture, and going forward we will implement the following to propose measures for the future:
(1)Questionnaire survey for SMES in Fukuoka Prefecture.
(2)Amongst the companies to answer the survey, carry out a visit survey for those with advanced measures.
(3)Based on the questionnaire result analysis, create a report, and publish a book.
Through the holding of lectures and seminars based upon the report, and the results of the activities being carried out by the SMEs, a book called "The Management of SMEs Social Responsibility" was published in February 2008.
