Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) has been developing Logibase Ibaraki-Saito in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture with Haseko Corporation ("Haseko", Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Kazuo Ikegami), and this new logistics facility was completed on January 22, 2025.

Located 1.5 km, or a 5-minute drive from the Ibaraki-Sendaiji Interchange on the Shin-Meishin Expressway, and a 13-minute drive from the Ibaraki Interchange on the Meishin Expressway, the new facility offers excellent accessibility. In addition to the capacity for frequent deliveries within Osaka Prefecture and to other urban areas, this new logistics center is also ideally situated to supply other major consumer markets in the Kansai region, such as Kyoto and Kobe.

With six above-ground floors and a total floor area of approximately 27,000 tsubo (equivalent to approximately 89,000 square meters), the multi-tenant facility offers approximately 3,000 tsubo (approximately 9,900 square meters) of storage space on each floor. Trucks can directly access the first five floors via a rampway for loading and unloading. The fifth and sixth floors feature a maisonette structure with four vertical conveyors and four freight elevators. The new facility can accommodate a wide range of business needs, including capacity for highly efficient inward and outward freight movements on the five lower floors, as well as valuable storage space on the sixth.

The construction project was managed by Mitsui & Co. Real Estate Ltd., which has extensive experience in the development of logistics facilities.

Mitsui & Co. Group will continue to use its wide-ranging networks and comprehensive strengths to develop properties designed to effectively meet business needs.
