Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) announced today a 45,000 US dollar donation by Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc., its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, for American Red Cross relief and recovery efforts in areas that were devastated by Hurricane Ida which struck Louisiana in late August 2021, causing damage to the Gulf Coast region as well as severe flooding across the Northeastern U.S.

Mindful of the devastation caused by these disasters, the company hopes that these contributions will provide some measure of relief to those who continue to be affected.
