Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichi Hori) announced a 50,000 AU dollar donation to Business Council of Australia's BizRebuild* program by Mitsui & Co. (Australia) Ltd. , its wholly owned subsidiary, to support the rebuilding of communities in New South Wales and Queensland affected by heavy floods that occurred in March 2021.

Mindful of the devastation caused by this disaster, the company hopes that this contribution will go some way to helping the communities and businesses impacted by the flood to rebuild, recover and thrive.

*BizRebuild is a business-led initiative, developed by the Business Council of Australia, to provide practical assistance to local businesses left devastated by the bushfires and floods. It is designed specifically to help businesses recover to create jobs, rebuild stronger communities and restore thriving local economies.
