In 1913, First Representative Office of the former Mitsui & Co. was established in Mexico City. At that time, the main businesses of Mitsui de México were the Mexican cotton exportations, and the imports into Mexico of fertilizers and miscellaneous merchandise required in this country.

More than 100 years have passed since then and Mitsui is still here to serve our customers and partners, ranging from trading of steel and chemical products to investment & operation of important infrastructure in Mexico.

I took office since April 2022. I shall make sure that Mitsui de Mexico who is important part of Mitsui as global business group continue to serve our customers and partners and bring in the true values in businesses.

We are currently under the Medium Term Management Plans (2020-2022) and the principle concept is “Transform and Grow”. We are committed to tackle this agenda with all our might, working together with all the stakeholders.
