1. Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Full-time - 38,5 hours/week - permanent
Your tasks:
- Marketing and sales in the petrochemicals/basic chemicals (commodities)
- Independently developing new sales markets in Europe and implementing sales strategies
- Acquiring new customers
- Managing our existing customers and business relationships
- Market research and analysis
- Price and contract negotiations
- Credit risk management
- Supporting the General Manager (direct reporting line)
- Collaboration with Mitsui offices worldwide
- On-site collaboration with the back-office team
- Contributing to the further development of our internal processing procedures
- Travelling (ard. 30%) to support business development, particularly in Europe and, where required, worldwide
Your qualifications:
- A successfully completed degree in business administration and/or a degree in chemical industry management
- Sales experience in an internationally operating company is desirable
- Knowledge of the petrochemical sector is an advantage but not essential
- Sales affinity combined with a communicative, dynamic and target oriented performance
- A high degree of initiative, commitment, and intellectual curiosity
- Readiness of mind, analytical skills as well as a structured working style
- Proficiency in both, written and spoken German and English
- Enjoy working in an international and diverse team
- Class B / 3 driving licence

2. External Relations Manager (m/f/d) - from 1st October 2026 - 38,5 hours/week - permanent
Your tasks:
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on global developments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government authorities and regulatory bodies, Industry associations, and External stakeholders
- Monitoring geopolitical, economic, and industry trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations for our senior management
- Develop and execute external relations strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Provide strategic briefings and reports to our senior management
- Represent the company at external meetings, conferences, and events
- Identify emerging trends affecting markets, industries, and supply chains
- Analyze geopolitical risks (e.g., trade policies, sanctions, conflicts, elections) and their business impact
- Develop reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Support the organization’s international intelligence team
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in political science, international relations, economics, or related field
- Professional experience in external affairs, public affairs, consulting, or research
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex developments into actionable insights
- High resilience and stress tolerance when working on complex projects
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- A high degree of self-motivation, ownership, reliability, and integrity
- Business fluent in spoken and written English

3. Working Student (m/f/d) Focus on REACH Management
max. 19 hrs/week - temporary employment for 12 months
Your tasks:
- Support the handling and preparation of REACH-related requests from business departments, including the consolidation and documentation of incoming information in a central system
- Assist in reviewing and recording product compositions, as well as in checking REACH Declarations of Conformity (e.g., SVHC) and Safety Data Sheets
- Support the review and verification of documentation completeness in the areas of REACH and CLP
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing regulatory developments (e.g., REACH, CLP, PPWR, PIC)
- Support the maintenance and updating of data in the applications “PubliChem” and “ExEss”
- Assist in structuring regulatory product information and in sharing relevant requirements internally in coordination with the REACH Specialists
Your qualifications:
- Ongoing studies in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental sciences, industrial engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on natural sciences or law
- Strong interest in REACH- and CLP-related topics; initial knowledge in this area is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured, detail-oriented, and independent working style, combined with strong communication skills when interacting with various stakeholders
- Confident use of Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is an advantage
- Enjoy working in a diverse and international team
