2. Reason for the dissolution
In consideration of Mitsui's corporate strategy to optimize its business portfolio, Mitsui decided to dissolve the business and plans to complete the liquidation. In the fiscal year ended March 2012, MCM FOODS HOLDINGS LTD. sold off its subsidiaries which are engaged in import and sales of canned food products and groceries in England, the Netherlands and Poland.
