Mitsui USA's private equity business is in line with the parent company's newest business of globally-based Private Equity operations, covering the full spectrum of private equity investments in early-stage, technology-driven companies, as well as traditional MBO/LBOs (Management Buy Out/Leverage Buy Out).

Engaged in such financial initiatives, this department pursues financial gains via venture capital and MBO/LBO investments in the U.S. and Canada. Leveraging Mitsui's global network as well as corporate development skill, the department is keen to fully address its investee companies' international business strategies and expedite their growth, to maximize their shareholders' value.
