Trade Service Center
In promotion of Mitsui USA's Comprehensive Business Engineering, the Trade Service Center (TSC) offers full logistics and financial services and support for all Mitsui USA business and administrative departments. The TSC, as the outsourcing center for Mitsui USA, is principally responsible for reviewing, validating and timely processing all trade and non-trade transactions, billing to customers, inventory reconciliation, settlement and maintenance of accounts receivable and accounts payable, management of cash and expenses and Mitsui USA department inquiry resolution. In addition, in conjunction with the Mitsui USA's Logistics Technology unit, the TSC provides logistics support, such as clearing customs for import shipments and arranging documentation for export shipments.
Its business analysts will recommend transaction process flow improvements or efficiencies for existing businesses as well as interact with Mitsui USA departments to develop and implement new procedures for new business. The Center uses advanced technology and is continually changing and adapting to provide faster and more efficient service to Mitsui USA's internal customers.
