The Consumer Service Business Division focuses exclusively on consumer oriented business development. The Division offers full-fledged services related to outsourcing, healthcare, human resources, broadcasting, Internet, content, and real estate. The content development aspect of our business involves identifying and commercializing products and services that match consumer needs. We deliver these products and services to individuals, families and local communities through access lines -or channels -that reflect changing trends in social dynamics and consumer trends. The Division targets new investments and the creation of new businesses that contribute to "better living" in all aspects of consumers' lifestyles, and respond to emerging consumer trends in the U.S., Japan, Europe and Asia. The Division is strengthening its core businesses which includes MBK Real Estate Ltd., our growing U.S. real estate development arm. MBK Real Estate Ltd. is a full-service real estate development company with operations throughout the Pacific Coast. The company's core business activities are undertaken through its three wholly-owned operating divisions providing development senior communities, homebuilding services and retail redevelopment. Highlighting some of our premiere relationships is the joint venture, in Japan – AIM Services Co., Ltd. – with ARAMARK Corp., a leading food service company in the United States. Additionally, QVC Japan Inc., is a Mitsui joint venture formed with QVC Inc., a preeminent global electronic retailer. |
