- Mitsui New York Head Office to Mercy Homes, Brooklyn, NY (for disabled individuals)
- Mitsui Los Angeles to the local Japan America Society and Japanese American Community and Cultural Center

- "Running for Art of Museum of Fine Arts, Houston" by Mitsui Houston
- "Adopt-A-Park" by Mitsui Seattle
For "Team Mitsui USA" of March of Dimes WalkAmerica it is employees who drive Mitsui USA's fund-raising efforts, because it's employees who volunteer lots of time and energy to collect pledges and run office-held, March of Dimes "wrap events" or promotions. Of the nearly $35,000 raised in spring 2003 by Mitsui USA for the Company's 23rd WalkAmerica, 64% (more than $22,000) was raised by employees.
